Hello From Upper East Tennessee
Hey, my name is Jeff. I am a 46 year old father of two boys (ages 9 and 11) and I love cars. about 12 years ago, before my oldest was born, I started buying Hot Wheels to start my son a collection. I love to collect things myself so this gave me an excuse to start another collection. For about two years, I bought anything and everything Hot Wheels. Like a lot of my other collections, I lost interest and moved on to other things. When my boys got a little bigger, I bought a little track and tried to get the boys to play with the Hot Wheels. For some reason, it never grabbed their attention. They would rather play ball. Less than a year ago, I traded all my carded stuff away for credit at a local comic shop. He wasn't interested in the loose stuff so I stuck it back into storage. About a week ago I found this site and now the bug is back. Wish I hadn't sold everything but I still have several storage cases of loose stuff to play with. First I need a track. I have enjoyed looking back through the forums looking at everyone's tracks. Not sure what I am going to build but I am going to get something going very soon. I also look forward to participating in the fantasy league and hopefully some of the mail in races also. I have a lot to learn so I hope I don't ask a lot of stupid questions.
Some of my other hobbies include online racing with Forza 4 and all my buddies. I also spend a lot of time watching my boys play baseball and when we can sneak it in, going fishing. Anything else you want to know, just ask.

One of the most fun ways to race is on open track. All you need to do is add walls to slot car track.

Toys R Us usually has track pieces on for 99 cents, less if they have a sale. You can build yourself a groovy dragstrip for 30 or so bucks...depends what you want to spend, and how long you want your track to be.
That slot car track idea is pretty cool. I saw that, and also some guys who built an extreme downhill using Sizzlers Fat Track.

It is based on an older gamers website called 2old2play.com. Fantastic group of guys. My gamer tag is h2daddy. Check out the site. You won't regret it.

Well, I still haven't gone to get all my loose cars out of my classroom but I have picked up a few new cars. My problem is I bought cars that I liked the look of not necessarily cars that will be good for racing. I can already see myself buying way too much stuff very soon.

Question: Is this a gamer tag, or a website "2old4forza" ? I like to race, but sometimes its finding the time. I'm on the west coast so there is a time difference maybe a couple of hours...but if you would like to do some Forza racing, give me a time, and we will see what we can do. And just to let you know I am over 25

The website is 2old2play.com. Once you get on there, go to the forums. 2old4forza is a forza racing clan on the site. Some clans you have to join to see their forums but not 2o4f. Check it out. It is huge and these guys are experts. There are guys on from all parts of the world. In fact, there are a ton of guys from Europe on the site also. You can race just about any time of the day and find guys on. I am a horrible driver compared to a lot of these guys but they are very cool about it. One of the leaders of the group Jcotter, runs a race school that is very helpful. I try to run with him a bunch. Come on over and check things out.
