Hit-and-Run Pursuit Season 1

This is a small mini-tournament to fill the gap between tournaments!

Basically, two modified cars will be going head to head against each other down Pine Hill Rally Course. But here's the twist. They will start behind 6 stock cars, and each car they pass earns them a point. It's like a checkpoint race, but the checkpoints are moving. I literally came up with this idea last night, and it's wild.

8 drivers are going to be accepted for Season 1 (we may do more), and it's first come first served!

Any cars are allowed, but don't paint them black because the stock cars will be black, and we want them to be easy to tell apart.

I will race the cars as they arrive, and for those who miss this tournament, there will be another (larger) tournament coming soon!

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 65g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Any lube
• Black cars are not allowed, since the stock cars that are racing also are black and we want to be able to tell them apart easily
• Family-friendly graphics and drivers only
• Any type of vehicle is allowed
• Bumpers and other objects to push other cars out of the way are encouraged!
• You can do whatever you want to your vehicle :)
• High COG and glued axles don't work well on this track
• I will race the cars as they arrive, no qualifiers will be run

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 10/17/2026. I will race the cars as they arrive. The sooner you can get them to me the better, because I would like to be able to fill the gap between the larger tournaments.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize. If you enter the other upcoming tournament and ship them together, you can include $10 for both entries combined.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Pine Hill Rally Course. 45 ft of hand-made track, and it makes for a lot bumping, bruising, and passing!

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. Each stock car the custom cars pass earns them a point. There are 6 stock cars, so the points are 6 (if you pass all of them) all the way down to 0 (if you pass none of them) The driver with the most points at the end of 4 races will advance.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

I will run the cars as I get them, so no need for a bracket.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
