Just took inventory of the entries......an even 20 cars racing!

Whoever wins will get the 20 that we're raced today and Fast Fred gets 20 new cars sent to him for his charity.

I'm seeing lots of RED ~75% of the cast. Only half of the entrants are FTE which is a bit surprising. Can't wait to see how the non FTE cars hold up against the proven-fast FTE's.
Now the question is who entered what??

The results are in and the holiday Rip N Roll champion is.......Smitty!!!

Smitty (model40fan) came to win with his GspeedR's Chrysler Thunderbolt (last year's Fantasy League champion). It was a tight race. So Smitty gets the load of loose cars, which I'm guessing means they'll go to Fast Fred's charity along with the new cars. Great pick, Smitty!

Off-the-peg racing is really a crap shoot. You might know which cars are "faster" through the Fantasy League or your own races, but we all know that cars fresh from the card have a 50/50 chance. All you can do is pick and hope for the best. Other top performers included Dadvball put on a good show as well despite getting bumped in the third round.

I want to thank everyone that sent in a car to race. There were a lot of "extra" entries in this race from members' families and friends, it was really great to see. And it's wonderful that Fast Fred's children's charity will receive a ton of Hot Wheels to enjoy.

I want to wish everyone happy holidays and a Merry Christmas. It's been another great year here at Redline Derby Racing thanks to all of you, and I'm looking forward to an even better 2014. More racing, more cars, more friends, more fun!

Awesome race! Congrats Smitty (and Fast Fred, on the at least twenty-one cars he'll be getting). I'm sorry our cars didn't make it in time to race, but I'm glad to see this went so well, and I'm glad to hear of all the cars Fred will be getting.

It looks like 'you'(#28) lost in the preliminary round of the Winner's bracket but then raced into ashes.
