That's great that your daughter gets involved, TLD. My daughters, like most adolescent girls, have no interest in diecast cars. However, my youngest girl(11yrs old) has recently asked to 'time' solo runs(via stopwatch) on my open track coarse. Apparently they've been doing some timing experiments in her 5th grade class which is probably why she's shown interest....I'll be happy just spending the time with her regardless of the accuracy of the recorded data.

Yea, I know...my friend's younger sister used to race go-carts against Danika when she was a child. No worries, I wouldn't want my girls to grow up & make cheesy 'Go Daddy' commercials anyway.

My daughter is only 3 years old so I suppose it's just a matter of time before she doesn't want anything to do with the Hot Wheels. Right now however, she thinks they're great and we have a lot of fun playing with them. I sneak in some learning too, by talking about the colors of the cars and the numbers on the race cars ect...
