Race format and scoring

1st: 4pts, 2nd: 3pts, 3rd: 2pts, 4th: 1pt, DNF: 0pts
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Bracket seeding will be random.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
Prizes

Discussion
Do they make British hot wheels?
Do we get bonus points for actually British cars (Corgi, Husky, vintage Matchbox, etc)?
- I've got an Impy Road Master from Lone Star that is a beautiful car. "Made in England" back in 1968. — GenX_VintageRacing

Hi IDR! I hate to be that guy, but one more oddball request: is a Power Surge ok? It's a HW original casting, so not based off of a real-world British car, but when working on it today I noticed that it is constructed for left-side traffic. Basically, I find myself with a car in want of a race and - since the design I've made seemed to fit this race best - I figured it couldn't hurt to ask :)
Reference photo is of car before custom paint job (though in the end she's still a Gryffindor).
- Thanks for asking, I'm excited to see you thinking about it so far ahead! I waited most of the day b/c I wanted to think it over, and unfortunately I have to say no. I'd really like to keep this British themed, and I think allowing this casting would open it open to pretty much anything, getting away from the theme I'm trying for. Also, Go Slytherin! — IndianaDiecastRacing
- Thanks for thinking about it. :) I knew it was a longshot. As a Slytherin, I'm sure you can respect the hustle. ;) Also, I just came up with a theme for my submissions... Looks like I need to dig out some British cars and get started! October will be here... Soon? :D — Xanthippe

Minis not allowed, but Fords are encouraged. Ironic.
