How did your K-Day go?
How did everybody's K-Day go? Mine went great! My dad and I had to go through the left behind stuff (Didn't get called for a fresh case) but we each got a Night Burner Treasure Hunt anyway! Also got some exclusives. Went to a local swapmeet afterwards and got 3 '93 Camaros, 2 Sol-Aire CX4's, a Toyota MR2 Rally, 2011 New Models A-Team van, 3 Hot Ones Speed packs, a 1996 Target exclusive 4 car vintage set, and an M2 Machines Foose P-32 Chase + Super chase pair. Plus I got some Superman cars from Fred Meyers and some Foose cars from Wal*Mart. So how did your's go?

Glad to hear that he got what he was looking for There were at least two $upers found at my K Mart today out of 20 cases.
Ah poop...I totally forgot about K-Day. I'll have to run by later and see what's left. I'm not a door warmer in the first place and my K-Mart is less than awesome when it comes to display, marketing and even turn out for their K-Days. Should be a few left. Thanks for the reminder!
ours was a month ago... buddy got me [10] '55 bel-air gassers and [28] '34 coupes for raw materials... thanks Gary...

This year they had three. They replaced the one in June with the Toys R Us mail-in.
I had never been able to attend a K day till today...me and my 11yr old son made the short drive to Ann Arbor, I know each event is run per store or manager...my mistake I thought the event started at 10am..nope started at 9am sharp. We got there about 9:30am with folks wandering out with cases... oh well both of us a bit bummed...we head to the back and see if there is anything left. There were still a few collectors milling about and chatting. My son and I headed to the racks looking for the cars on our list. Of the 8 cars on my sons list there was one still pegged. Rip Rod...Here's where I truly enjoy this hobby and community. Another collector asks my son his name and what cars he's looking for. My son shows his list, and the collector starts pulling everything on the list from his case of cars...

and a mainline Sand blaster, the guys said no supers were found.
We exchanged info for future hunts and toy shows
