Howdy! New to the group!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Boone, but, you can call me Crazy Trucker Dude, Trucker, Dude, (or as you will see find out I am sure) just plain Crazy!! LOL
A little about me, so you can see where some of my crazy ways and ideas come from... I am a long haul trucker by trade, out for a week, home for a day or so. I used to be a plumber in Fl, but now I live in TN near Nooooooga. I am married to a WONDERFUL and SUPPORTIVE of my hobby/addiction woman. I often wonder what i did to deserve her!!
I am what I consider myself to be an "outside of the box' ( blister pack, dare I say?) thinker. I am grateful for my GOD given gift of x-ray like vision abilty and spacial awareness. I can look at something from the outside, and instantly see into it, and imagine the inner workings and what happens there to make it work. I hope to share this ability maybe one day something i say might be useful to ya'll. :)
I have to say, while I am, (at this time at least) mostly interested in the modding aspect of this forum, I am sure one day, my crazy ideas will lead me down the straight and narrow orange path. I've got my family on the lookout for tracks at all the thrift stores in town. I'm sure when the time is right, it'll fall right into my lap. :)
I only have a couple of hours each week to actually work on my many ideas, so any posting of pictures will be few and far between I am sure. That is of course, providing I can figure this photo bucket thing out, too.
I am looking forward to being a part of this, what seems to be a friendly bunch of folks. And I hafta warn y'all in advance, sometimes my sense of humor comes off a bit off cue, but I mean only the best. Not malice intended I assure you now. :)

I'll try and figure out the photos soon. I spent a couple hours this morning setting up my new "Dungeon Chop Shop" and sliceing and diceing some mock ups. Plenty of ideas running around this ole head. Just gotta find the time.
Nice Peterbilt Chris. I'm a bit oversized for the narrow Pete's. I am currently in a striped down Columbia running flat automotive glass to warehouses and plants, mostly in Ohio. That big blue company sure keeps me running.

Welcome to crew, glad you found us! You are amongst friends here, so your "crazy" ideas are worth a lot here. Just share you ideas, concepts and stories...and photos, if you have the time :) Even stories about past racing experiences are always great to read. Ideas can come from anywhere...

Welcome aboard, CTD! You sound like you'll fit right in! There's always something going on and there is generally enough lead time so that you can get your cars together!
I don't have the dates nailed down yet, but the Beater Truck race might be a great place to start!
Feel free to ask any questions you have...you'll probably get more answers than you want!
