Independence Bash

•Any American muscle car (No trucks or vans) Any year from 1965-present
•60.99g weight limit.
•This is a modified race but you can enter a stock car if you want.????‍??

•Cutting/Sanding wheels ok

•No Bearings/Bushings

•2 car max per team

•Must have some form of a entry slip with your team name and return address.
•Cars due June 27th! Dont be late. Will not wait!!

•Each car will get one run in both lanes with the fastest time being recorded.
•The field will be cut in half after each round until we have a winner.
•The winner will receive a trophy
2nd & 3rd will receive medals.

We will also have a stock race. MUST BE AMERICAN MUSCLE CARS. This will be a winner take all race! No trophy just all the cars.

•No Cutting or conning wheels.
•Sanding to true wheels is ok.
•Decals ok
•2 car max per team

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 60.99g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Any lube

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 6/27/2026. Racing will take place as soon as the host can. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Race format and scoring

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race in round 1 but will not move on.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
