Its a good week :)

Man...I've just died and gone to Hot Wheels Heaven I think.

First, I went flea marketing last Sat and made some scores. Got a couple of those 25th Anniversary re-releases...A Twin Mill and a Red Baron. Also snagged some spectraflame Hot Wheels Classics. (Both the TwinMill, Red Baron, Heavy Chevy and Nitty Gritty Kitty are throwbacks...I had those ones when I was a kid )

Then, to make it perfect, I got a package from a fellow poster here that I made a trade with (who shall remain nameless unless he says otherwise) ...the 2013 mainline 71 Mustang I've been looking for. Sweet sweet ride....and there were a few extra goodies too. (thanks again man.)

Now today....I answered a Kijiji ad. I've been looking for a couple battery operated superchargers to build a "display track" and the guy had a bucket of orange track and other odds and ends, and right at the top of the pile in the ad photo was a supercharger...and the guy wanted 20 bucks. So I go to pick it up. Well there's 4 superchargers, 8 full turns, couple of loops, couple of jumps, bunch of stuff I couldn't place, and 24 brand new pieces of Toys R Us orange track. All this stuff is pristine.

I'd say I'm doing ok, and I think maybe I'll quit for a little while and enjoy my haul.

(PS...in honor of reclaiming my flaming youth, I must report that, in the race that took place very shortly after I got home from the flea market, the Nitty Gritty Kitty lost to Heavy Chevy by about a car length.)
