According to what I have seen and read on the internet it is no longer being made. What's the next alternative?

If you look on the krytox website you can find the viscosity of the oil... then you can search for other oils with the same viscosity, and that includes silicone which also comes in many viscosities... it is an interesting rabbit hole...
