Race format and scoring

December 2020-
Drivers will get a chance to pick out their favorite car they would like to drive.
This section will only be advertised here and on Facebook.

January 2021-
Drivers will start to race and win progress up the ladder.
1v1 races
Best out of 3 (Challenger will always start in the outside lane for race 1 & 3.
The first car to win 2 races will advance up the ladder.
You win, you keep going. Once you lose your progress stops.
Once a week drivers will be able to advance as far as they can up the ladder.

February 2021-
Mail-In cars will start to compete against the current stock cars.
The ladder only fits 20 cars! So with that being said , in order for your car to qualify you have to beat the car in the 20th spot. Failure to do so will put you at the end of the line. After all the cars waiting in line have gone, you can try again. After 3 failures to beat the car in the 20th spot, your car will be disqualified. Racing format will remain the same as listed above.

September 2021-
Mail-In window will be closed. This will be to allow current cars waiting to get a chance to climb up the ladder.

December 25th 2021-
This will be the last day drivers get a chance to make it to the top.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will be repaired if damage is minimal.

Prizes

6 cars total and 4 will be Treasure Hunts!

So I just watched a video for your races today and I'm interested is it open to send car(s) still?

  • Yessir, we are still open for new cars. Unlimited cars welcome , we just need diff drivers for each car. Deadline to receive cars is in September though! :) — MnMRacing
  • And it can be any casting as long as it fits orange track right? — NDeavers80
  • Yeah, any casting :) I do prefer realistic cars but as long as it fits in the orange track your good! — MnMRacing
  • Ok cool. I sent them yesterday I think you'll like my group — NDeavers80

Incoming ladder warrior!  Recently got doubles of this 959, so why not send one in?  It's stock, but also 47g, so I threw a little Sharpie detailing on the one with the less cool wheels(sawblades FTW!) and sent it!
