MCM Mini Truck Madness

The Mini Truck Madness tournament will consist of 5 different casting options. The following trucks will be allowed; Mazda Repu, 69 Chevy Pickup, Datsun 620, VW Caddy and the Chevy Luv. I know there may be other options but these are the ones that I picked for this tournament. You can pick any one of the trucks, there are no limits on how many of each casting is allowed.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Painted Windows are fine
• No pieced together trucks, beds can be filled but nothing extending above that. Wheel Wells can be ground larger.
• Dry lube only

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Wednesday, 10/25/2023. Racing is scheduled for Wednesday, 11/1/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $8.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize. If you are from outside the US, it cast me about $15 to ship. Please include money or write Paypal, if there is nothing listed, it will not be shipped back.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Race format and scoring

This will be a standard 4 car tournament with the standard scoring 4,3,2,1. Top 2 cars from each group will move on. The tournament will consist of 32 cars. If more cars enter, the top 30 cars from qualifying will automatically make it in the tournament. The rest of the cars will run in a "win to get in" tournament were the top 2 truck will take the last 2 spots. All trucks will be accepted up to the cut of date of 10/25/23. Any trucks that show up after that will not make it in the tournament.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be done on qualifying time.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, it will be disquilified.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
