Lovin' the Brit cars Dadvball! Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
There was an Anglia in one of the Featherweight races that ran really well.

Heres that very Anglia I entered in my 1st mail in race, along with the custom one as done by Smitty.

Hmmmm....gasser front axle, large diameter, wide track, 5 spokes and a metal 3 duece set up that has a rail running front to back underneath the unit, cut a slot on top of any mill you choose, a dab of glue in the slot and drop in 2 or 3 of the carbs...
nice to see the old RDR vetrans again stawka

Bent, gasser front axle. Cheep I say, Ran like poo! Want it Smitty?

So, just out of curiosity, how did your Anglia and TR6 do?

My cars go to the PO today. Funny thing is if I paid for Priority (using my own box, less than 1/2 lb) it would be there Monday at almost $7.00. Sent them 1st class for less than $3 and she said by Tuesday. We'll see. Anyway, they are on the way.

I went back and looked at the Featherweight series, and that looked like it must of been so much fun!!! Makes me wish I was involved in the community back then!

Cars have arrived from:

AMH 412

The Anglia did surprisingly well. I don't remember that TR6 specifically, but in general those are strong runners.

It was a lot of fun!
The first Featherweight Challenge had the most cars we've ever run in a series (4 cars per entrant). While the Middleweight Challenge II won't have as many cars, it will have the most people racing we've ever had in a series. MCII is shaping up to be one of helluva of a series!

I shipped my cars on Tuesday so they should be getting there. Hey TLD go ahead and throw some FTE's on there for me when you get them

Due to the large number of entries in this series, this will be new territory for me as a host (Bellingham, 2nd leg). I realize we're doing single elimination, but let's say at least 22 team's cars actually show up (44 cars), this is what the brackets would look like. I found this on PrintYourBrackets.com
http://www.printyourbrackets.com/fillable-brackets/44-team-single-fillable.pdf
It looks like a lot of first round byes in this one. Would anyone have a problem if I used this bracket. Or does anyone have a better format?
