So if TLD's page 1 "arrivals" are up to date, he has received 20 teams' cars so far. That's 40 cars which is quite impressive.

-0h I did notice in another thread (Dueling Deliveries I think) Jobe has been sick as a dog and I was figuring that he had no chance to work on cars for this, but I figured he would still host. We should double check when it comes time to send the cars to him.

So, if my math is correct and I didn't make a mistake somewhere along the way, we have:

23 teams/ 46 cars that will be racing in the Middleweight Challenge II. Thank you very much to all of you who have entered. It looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun for a couple months!

18 cars will have a bye in the first round if I'm looking at these brackets correctly.

It's been snowing up at Tastelikedirt Raceway, and sometimes it gets unbearably cold there, but here's what my plan is.

Sometime in the early afternoon (very iffy at the racetrack) I hope to post photo of all the match ups and first round of racing. That's the least I hope to get done on Saturday. If time permits I'll get into the second round. If not, all the rest of the racing will happen Sunday and everything will be posted as soon as possible.

Alright we can proceed with a clear conscious then.

Clear skies and 17 degrees at Tastelikedirt raceway. The cold has got the track officials moving slow, but the track is set up. Today we are going with:26 feet. If the racing crosses over to Sunday (It will) the track will have the exact same set up.

There is still some administrative work to be done. Adding car number to the final arrivals ect. I'm sure it will be after noon west coast time before any results start showing up here at the forums. Also if you never hear from me again until later tonight it's because the internet connection died out.

-Just realized I have to take the team photos now because there may not be time later. This will push the racing back quite a bit.

Here's the first bunch of match ups - Left side.

I think I'm going to run the whole left side first. Kinda like its own race. There is one car from each team if I didn't mess up.

New plan. I'm going to see how far I can get running the left side of the bracket today and then the right side tomorrow/Sunday.

The racing at Tastelikedirt Raceway is the best 2 out of 3. Must win two consecutive to advance. Lanes are switched each race.
