So, with the cars going to be here any day now I'm going to attempt to do the racing mid-week, as I'm also next on the list for the Drag Cars. Next weekend being Easter I won't have the time to do both series not to mention I don't think my wife will be overly thrilled. She thinks I'm nuts. Anyway, depending on what time I get home from work I might do one side of the bracket one night, the other the next night plus the final. We'll have to play it by ear.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll have quite a bit of fun.

I put a few pics of my track on the Tracks and Racing forum. I can get 19 feet if I set it up in the living room, but it's off limits now because of Easter and company.

NO... they suck !

Your cars must be butterflies...

i was trying to be funny...
my dad was a biology teacher... spiders inject their victims with venom that breaks down the tissues... then they suck the "juice" back into their mouth as lunch...
butterflies, no... allthough my cars do tend to morph into a more docile mode as the series goes by.

Ditto, especially on the 'have fun' part.
Racing hot wheels should never be stressful!

Cars arrived today and the box is in great shape, no visible damage! However, the base on the Weber Cabin Racing Mirada has separated from the body. It's a quick fix with a small amount of JB weld. If WCR is ok with it I can fix it.
What's up with the blue VW with the blue painter's masking tape on the roof and the question mark? I don't remember seeing anything about it but the rear axle is completely loose to the point the car doesn't roll because the rear of the base has bottomed out. I'm assuming it was an extra?

All the cars were checked out and aside from the two mentioned above there are no signs of any damage. Tonight I'll spread them out, divide them up, and make the brackets. Tomorrow night I should be able to start some racing.

Awesome cars everybody! I can't tell you how cool this is to actually see them all in person. This is gonna be a blast!

Glad to hear they made it safe! If you get time, you can go ahead and fix the Mirada up, (and do what you can to make it faster ), the blue bug was a 1 race replacement car for the broken Mercury in the first leg of the series, just keep it shipping with the pack. Thanks so much DvB, cant wait for the race to start!

The Team Points section has been updated. Congrats to Dadvball, who thanks to his metallic green TR6, has moved up 5 spots this week!

On a side note, if Traction Event would have stuck with his silver Ferrari 308, he'd of been in third place (Teams) with 21.5 points.
