Middleweight Challenge!
Chris, I'm having the same problem. The left lane car can be ahead by as much as a half car length and the right lane lights up. The left lane paddle has to travel further to activate the light. I'll have to mess with it when I have more time.

The cars for both Middleweight Challenge and the Rookie Race have arrived!! I checked them all over and all of them are OK, except I am a little concerned about Car #8 (UDC '57 Chevy). It's front axle is loose, and the front driver's side wheel rubs the fender. Would you like me to try to repair this? I can take it apart, secure the axle, and put it back together.
Kudos to Chris 72 Chevy C10 on the excellent packing job of the entries!

Smitty.... I've gotta say, you outdid yourself on that Galaxy gasser! Seeing that it won the last heat, I had to run it down my track just now to see what it does. It is literally the fastest that has ever ran down my track!! I was absolutely blown away.

I put little bags in with the bracket forms with numbered (and named) squares of paper....for drawing the brackets. I always hate having to make them up, so I figured I would put them in there!

On my Dragtracks set I use 1 piece of track for the slope, and 9 on the flat (I'm like Smitty when it comes to slower races, they are more fun to watch). 72_Chevy_C10's Javelin from the Matchbox series ran 2.27's on that combo here..... Smitty's Galaxy gasser ran 2.23! And that is actually a several car length difference.
TE's Chevelle, the Krusty Dodger and the black Impala all ran 2.26's.
I was also pretty impressed by the 2.30 layed down by CCRider's Diesel Boy (which I had to try because it was the Rookie car winner last weekend.)

Here's what I decided I'll do. I will run the Rookie Race tonight, and I will take the 3 fastest Rookie cars and include them in the Middleweight Race tomorrow, like you did last Sunday. Sound good?
Pairings will be drawn tonight (including the 3 fastest Middleweight cars).

The tiebreaker between the two slower semi-finalists is by their ET.

In the 3rd place race, Rally Case ran tough (though he bobbled coming out of the gate...tgat's why I re-ran it), C10's Impala had him covered
The Final was good, door handle-to-door handle racing...DadVBall's Galaxy would come off the hill a little ahead, and had enough to hold off C10's Dodger...good close racing!
