DragonFire Raceway has a new home, and you’re invited to jump on the track.

Beginning in January ‘26 MidOhio Diecast will be hosting 12 monthly racing events at the Triad Local Schools community center located in North Lewisburg, Ohio. (about 45 minutes Northwest of Columbus ) The super nice facility will provide a fantastic location with room for multiple racing tracks and sales tables. Our DragonFire Raceway and Rocky Grimes upcoming tube-framed, interactive Dragster track along with another, yet to be built 4 lane raceway will be the featured tracks. All events will be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, 10am to 2pm with one hour setup/teardown times before and after.

It will cost $5 to get on the track, which includes open testing from 10am to 12pm (you can test as many cars as you want) and entry into the racing action. There will be a points system so competitors can run for a season championship if they’d like. More racing related details will be coming in the next few weeks.

Spectating and shopping is free.

Everyone is welcome to join in and of course we want to see as many RLD members as possible!

If you’d like more info or to follow updates on this series be sure to join the MidOhio Diecast FB Group.

That is going to be super cool that you will have a site for others to visit and have fun at.

Between building a new straight track, making some adjustments to the Dragon, and preparing to host these in-person events the next few months are going to be busy, thats for sure.

Totally awesome.  Wish I lived nearby.   Best of luck with the planning and execution.
