Muscle Trucks 2 - Last Race from Sussex Speedway
1935 Ford pickup...2nd truck im thinking Studebaker, not sure yet?
- Cool — 72_Chevy_C10
Glad I decided to weigh my choices before too much work. I need to start over with different trucks. Both are over without adding weight. Oops.
What about Humvees and El Camino's?
- Discussed earlier.. no El Camino/Ranchero.... Not sure about Hummers — Traction-Event
- Sorry I missed this...Hummers are more of a military vehicle to me...this race is for American built, V-8 powered trucks. I mean, if the Hummer makes the size requirements, I wouldn't kick it out, but, it would look out of place — 72_Chevy_C10
Built this one with a veteran racer in mind.... 52 Chevy... he would have built a Ford...
- Yes he probably would have. Nice job TE! — Dadvball
- Awesome...A Sloppy Jalopy! Smitty might have built it as a Gasser though....hmmm, it just so happens that I have a gasset pickup on my workbench...maybe Smitty will have a whole team :) — 72_Chevy_C10
- Anyone know what Smitty is up to these days? — redlinederby
Well, I was going to contribute this rig to 'Team Smitty', but I looked around a little bit and found the fixings of a more appropriate 'Sloppy Jalopy'...
So, this little Model A pickup will be my Smitty rig
- Both are cool trucks — NDeavers80
- Thanks :) — 72_Chevy_C10
I just ran a couple test passes with those two trucks...the Model A might need a few tweaks. But, the Gasser Chevy is bringing some speed...you guys will want to be on your 'A' game.
Let the call-outs begin :)
- Now I have to set up my track.... dang it — Traction-Event
What about '56 Flashsider's?
- Check the length...they might be over 3". As long as they are 3" or less overall length, you are good to go — 72_Chevy_C10
Second truck I'm working on
