Well, I was going to contribute this rig to 'Team Smitty', but I looked around a little bit and found the fixings of a more appropriate 'Sloppy Jalopy'...
So, this little Model A pickup will be my Smitty rig
I just ran a couple test passes with those two trucks...the Model A might need a few tweaks. But, the Gasser Chevy is bringing some speed...you guys will want to be on your 'A' game.
Let the call-outs begin :)
What about '56 Flashsider's?
- Check the length...they might be over 3". As long as they are 3" or less overall length, you are good to go — 72_Chevy_C10
I built a similar truck to this one for the first Muscle Truck race, so I'll have to change this one up a little :)
Okay, so you guys can probably figure out what is going to be happening here :) Not that there were ever many '56 Ford F100 Gassers ever built...but, heck, it should be fun! And, I happen to know that there is another old Ford Gasser pickup in the works as well :)
Had to shorten the chassis a little bit to make this work...and narrow it...and glue in a brace along the top to strengthen it
But, it's looking pretty cool...I'll have a better idea how it will look once I get some wheel on it. But, that can wait til tomorrow
