I'll be live blogging and tweeting from the convention the best I can. I'm not sure if I'll take my laptop or not...dunno about the wifi situation there. But I'll try to do video...there will be photos at least.

Looks like you guys all did some sweet customs, but I believe Bryan Jobe's Super Van is definitely the prettiest gal going to the dance. My opinion!

Drag Bus right? Modified? Looks extra long.

It's an '09 EVO GT. Here's a pic from the site.

Lots of mods on this one, lol.

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Got the van!

We have our winner! Mr Jobe has won the 2011 Nashville Show and Go race!

Most of the racing was very close (with a few exceptions, lol) but it wasn't all about speed. Jim (JDC) won the racing portion and I won the show, but Bryan was able to score a fourth place finish in the racing and fifth place in the show to edge out the competition by one point.

Three of us had major problems on the track. Paul (WRF Customs) and Brandy McCormick both raced Dairy Deliverys and the white RLC track just wasn't wide enough to support them. I had set up my EVO on a piece of orange track and the difference was amazing, the car barely fit in the groove and the wheels were riding the walls the entire way down the track, well atleast as far as it made it. I actually lost the chrome on my wheels.

So I'll be back in the shop till August when we run the next round of the Show and Go at the Dallas Kustom Kon, We'll have a few more entries waiting to go!

Congrats to everyone!

Congratulations Bryan Jobe! I knew your van was going to do well. That sparkly paint was just too gorgeous not to turn heads, and fast too huh? Did it beat Brian's van too? How did Forrest's Splittin' Image do on the track? Also congrats to Jason on winning the show! I'd like to see that car up close. Pics?

My 442 won the racing part? Incredibly sweet! Who'd have known I could make a fast custom, and on my first try
Now, I really wish I could have seen those races. Damn!
