Netflix Let's Race TV Series
Okay, so I have a bunch of cars that I have entered into a spreadsheet, and I happened to notice quite a lot of them had Netflix on the card as well as Let's Race. Finally, I wanted to find out what this was about.
Did you know they had a cartoon series of Hot Wheels, called Let's Race. Probably, but I didn't know.
But one thing that crossed my odd way of thinking mind of mine, If they are trying to demonstrate racers racing against each other, they are using a 'single' orange track. Makes me think, if they were promoting this freestyle open concept, why not come out with a multi-lane orange track with no divider?
I suppose I wondered why they didn't, or haven't, brought out a track that was double the width of the current orange track, with no divider, and let it be open.
Just my thoughts as I was looking at it for a few minutes.

The very first HW commercial in 1968 featured the cars rolling side by side on a ramped lanolium floor, so they clearly understood that single lane orange track isn't the only racing medium. They also raced with a open track format in The World Race and Accelleracers cartoon series'. Will they ultimately acknowedge OT as a legitimate racing genre for thier toy market? Probably not. As thrilling as OT can be, it's still difficult to game plan for since 'luck' is such a major factor.
- I'd agree, and could get frustrating for a kid. Us big kids...well, we think outta the box. they need a happy medium. and don't think they don't see CT, 3D printed, etc, and already know how muchof an estimated sell they could get. The real $$$ is finding the chinese co that makes CT, and buy a whole roll — dr_dodge
With their production power they could probably undercut all the small business currently 3D printing open track corners. Ive no idea why they haven't mass produced it myself, they'd make a killing.
