New idea to keep track in place easily.

Stroller Saturday, 4/13/2013

This is what I am using on my new track keep the track from wandering around. It's rubber shelf and drawer liner and it's skid proof. I've used it under my microwave to keep it from moving around when you push the buttons or open the door. Just put it under your orange or blue track and it will not wander. No gluing necessary. Enjoy. Larks Lead!!

great idea, i had that in my tag along camper to keep stuff from bouncing to much... i still made a mess

I use the stuff on my home built HW shelves, gives the cars a little grip to prevent them from rolling forward when I don't want them to.

Well after using this technique for several months I have come to the conclusion that this is not the best idea. The track does have a mind to slide along the length. Very frustrating, so I'm gonna try something more permanent.

Depending on how long your track is...Velcro might be the answer to your problem. But you will need a board to put the track on. Got any pictures of your current track setup?

Some have also used magnetic strips glued to the bottom of the track, and the board...I've used roofing nails with the round washer type head that fits perfectly in the groove in the bottom of the track. Just put a washer under the roofing nail to create a space to allow the track to slide on...presto its done, and its cheap! Just make sure your lines are straight. Some have also just screwed the track down to wood...kinda looks bad, but it works...I just haven't done it. Hope this helps.

I recently took the connecting strips that hold the orange track pieces together and stapled it to a board. That way the track is held in place and doesn't move around. Just make sure you have a good staple gun...I was using an electric one that would drive the staple all the way through. I ran the staple lengthwise and center of the track connector...it really works well.
