New Member Introduction.

Hello Racers,

I thought I'd take this opportunity to introduce myself since I finally graduated from guest lurker to actual member. 

I've been involved in the hobby since Christmas 2024 when my little boy  who is mad for Toy Cars and had just turned 4 got a 16ft roll out track from Santa to race his ever expanding collection of Hotwheels on. 

Well myself, my little boy and my own Dad had a blast all Christmas setting the track up for jumps and loops and finding out what cars performed the best, we also found a lot of broken cars which was the next step in my journey as Grandad went and bought a pile of stuff from AliExpress to fix all the broken cars, then he started buying brand new as well, picking up a few real nice cars online and then starting to buy hotwheels and matchbox from local stores. I thought all this was pretty cool as it gave my son and my father a common interest and I was happy to let them have it....until...

"Dad, can you fix my car the way Grandad does, it's wheels are bust?"

So with that one simple question I had to step up to the plate and now I'm hooked too. 

Fixed all my boys broken cars using piano wire with glued on glass beads. 

That speed tail was the first one I ever fixed. I thought it was so fast after I was done. I've now went deeper, premium cars, added weight, custom axels using sewing pins, graphite, isopropyl alcohol. I think I'm building fast cars, my dad has matched me in all my endeavours for the fastest cars and my little boys gold Batmobile has been modded to the limit of my current ability.

It's time to take the next step though. Aspirations to build a  proper drag track with a timer to help my mods and to enter mail-in races.
