Welcome! I have only just begun to build a track and test some of my cars on. I can't wait to have a nice table and chair setup so that I can sit down and create some fast little devils to send out to the various tournaments that are held.

I can tell you that it'll take some time and a lot of cars before you get comfortable with building. But it's something you can't learn by watching videos. You can learn which tools work best and things like that, but 'getting your hands dirty' is the best way to learn. What works for one person may not work for someone else. You have to experiment. Good luck with your new addiction.
