Welcome aboard jms,

I prefer the modified car racing [just me], some of the guys prefer stock racers... we have some of both coming up...

Mostly we all mail the cars/ entries that meet the series rules to the 1st heet's host, he/ she will # them, set the brackets, run the eliminations, post the results, repackage the cars and mail them to the next heet's host...

Cars are already numbered, so #2 will set the brackets by the last heets results or by picking #s from a hat...#2 runs the eliminations, posts results, repacks the cars and ships them to heet #3...and so on...

If you host you are not expected to send return shipping to the finals host, all other entries are...unless posted otherwise...

anything I missed or mis-typed will be set straight by the other racers... lots of past racing series, car buys and  builds in the comment history here...

Welcome to the site JMS! It's a great site and diecast racing is good fun! There's a great bunch of guys on here and lots of info about building and racing diecast (I was just getting ready to start a Nascar build-up thread!).

Look around the site a little bit, and don't be afraid to ask questions. These cars are easy to work on, but can be a little tricky to get them to be really quick!

The Wagon Wars race is currently going on, with the Crew Chief Challenge and the Sedan Shootout coming up. The best way to start is to jump in feet first. It's really exciting to see the results and find out how your card are doing.

Let me know if I can be of any help...see ya at the races!

Chris

Welcome to the site, JMS, glad you found us.

If you're interested in the mail-in racing, just keep an eye on the Tournaments forum and you'll find one that tickles your fancy. From there, each person hosting a race will set their own rules and shipping instructions.

The event calendar is also a good place to see what's coming up

If you have any questions or have any problems using the web site, just PM me or make a post.
