I'm running 2 races one on my 12foot track and a second race on my 24foot track, both on the same day.
Now I'm thinking it's gonna be awfully cold, but it will happen.......
Double elimination on both tracks.
Wish me luck.....
Scoring is tbd.

Brian ran a truck race a while back, bout time we have another. Stroller, hammer this thing out. Lets race!!
Mine was a little broader that allowed trucks, vans, wagons...anything non-car (but still real world).
I think a just pick-up truck race would be fun to see what people do with them. Not a lot of hidden truck space for extra weight, we'll have to get creative.
wow 90 grams...light heavy weight class... didn't think I could even get close to that weight...go pounders go !
.a disabled collector that i see at the flee markets will get the "HOLE SHOT LIZOTTE" card...
i packed the space between the base and floor boards with lead, hammered a block of lead till it fit into the cab, packed lead chips under the hood and cowl...
. going to weight watchers tonight...
NOW 87.3 G's... glass, paint and glue to come;
.
. removed the tailgate, entry weight 86.4 G's... used superfast "Bellin'am orange" paint !
Cool! Just a couple questions...
1: Do they have to be different castings/bodies?
2: Can the weights be obvious?
Sorry if this was made obvious in the original thread and I missed it. I just want to be sure.
Only one truck per entrant.

Hey Smitty that truck looks cool even wheel less and paint less......nice work.

That's good, because I'm great with pretty cars! Just look at the Van I entered in the Builder's Cup!
Don't worry--I'll try to actually make this one look good.
That red FTE truck's awesome! Good work!
lead block inside the cab... thin sheet of mirrored alum., cut to size and glued in as glass...
Would the Rescue Ranger qualify?
Smitty, great work as usual

The Rescue Ranger appears to be a pickup with attached side toolboxes. So I say it's ok.......
