The case was mine, but as Smitty said, it's donated for shipping cars around the country by our hosts. I thought it would be a good idea since it can hold plenty of cars and slips into a medium flat rate box very nicely. Which ever host of a series ends up with it last sends it to the first host of another series for shipping race cars around to hosts for that series, and so on until it wears out, then will think of something else.

Set up my 25 ft track and tested my truck and Clayfeat's....they were fast, but after spinning the tires I realized they were not lubed.... This could be a problem. I looked at where I had glued the base and body together. The epoxy was whit not black. I remember not using JB Quick or Weld. I had used epoxy I had bought at Harbor Freight called Epoxy Super Weld.
These trucks have been sitting around after gluing for several weeks. The epoxy was still soft. Taking it apart was no problem. So now it's lubing the axles and JB welding it back together.
BTW the old people ,of which I'm one, are excited about the Hot Wheels car racing coming to the Silver Café in January. Going to give away a HW car with each meal purchased, up to fifty. Later there will be a contest amongst those that have cars, with prizes. Finally I'm gonna sell the donated custom cars outright in the bubbles supplied by Smitty. Everybody will get full credit for their work. I'm thinking of asking $10 each does that sound right? Also posters are going up hopefully at the diecast store in town and Kmart and Walmart and Target, maybe Toysrus........the events are not carved in stone yet so any input from you guys would be appreciated.............Stroller
Here's a (probably dumb) question, does my entry have to be a Hot Wheels truck or can it be another brand? Like Johnny Lightning or M2 machines?
Also, are there any prizes involved, or do you just win bragging rights if you're the champ?

Cool I think I'm going to build an ERTL '98 Dodge Ram 1500. Would it be OK if I built it on a Hot Wheels chassis?
