Okay, I got this pic from my Facebook page talking about Las Vegas. Well, maybe it is just me, but with all the stuff I have putting in my head about Hot Wheels and Drag Strips; I 'thought' this was one. :-)

I mean, look at that nice slope and the long run-out! Perfect for a drag strip.

That makes me want to gather enough orange track to attempt the world record for longest distance traveled by a Hot Wheel on a Hot Wheels Track ????

Maybe have a Die Cast convention in vegas, and everyone bring their straight tracks in an extra suitcase. Then we all rent a bus and just do it! — RacerGnome

You could very easily make your drag strip have this vid

ditch the return right lane, gravel service return rd

2 different tracks, right side painted orange drag strip,

other side, textured gravel offroad

with big power poles between like these

could be a great dual track
off road, and street drags on an abandoned road

This road is California. Nevada border is the finish line. The dry lake bed at the bottom is perfectly flat. Top of the hill to the finish is 10 miles. 1/64 scale would be over 800'. Yes, this is the road to Vegas.

When I first moved to Vegas from New York I couldn't believe how smooth the roads are... and I couldn't even find a pothole if I tried!
