My replacement cars, as the MachX lost its pre-race battle with a giant mutant cat.
Mutsubishi Eclipse (named 3rd Degree), driven by Feral Patrick. Feral comes from the land of ice and snow - Minnesota. To battle the Lutefiskian mutants, and the elements, he uses a roof-mounted flamethrower to melt flesh, bone, and ice.
Dodge M80 (named Mother), driven by Buffalo Jones. Buffalo drives as blocker and re-supplier for Feral Patrick, scavenging and delivering fuel while acting as a decoy during attacks.
I'm sorry for the delay. I will begin the time trials this next weekend. I set up to do it today but testing revealed I needed some more tools - and those will arrive this week. I am lucky and privildged that my side hustle pays well enough to let me buy these basic tools without sacrificing the rent money.
I uh.... I forgot to get the flexible mounts to put my gopros on, and I didn't realize I would need an extension bar for my gimbal. So when I went to mount my camera for the start gate - I ... didn't have a mount. It slipped my mind in all the other stuff I was doing - because cameras come last in the testing phase.
Whoops.

I have started time trials.
And it is a hell of a trial.
I am learning a lot as I do this. I am learning how to hold the camera properly, how to stage the race, how to move with the cars.
I'll be honest - I'm letting everyone who sent me cars, race at least 2 cars no matter how they do in the trials. The trials are about me getting the practice in and the mistakes made, so that when I set to do the races, then I have some experience and understanding of what I am doing.
Vehicles in the first time trial have just been posted to the driver cards thread.
I am going to have to reshoot, and thus, retest, several cars due to me making mistakes and not catching them on camera propery, or forgetting to reset the timer.
I will try to have this video out tomorrow.

And you, my poor wretch, you are my quarry. And we are going to leave this pestilent little watering hole and take a ride in Necroshine. You've got an appointment with a hangman's noose and you shan't be late. As far as the rest of you fine... gentlemen, take a good look outside. Necroshine glows neon black and carries a 40mm rapid fire canon that will punch holes through anything in that gravel lot. Now, my car, she ain't the fastest - but she's tough, determined and Hellfueled.
And, unfortunately for you, a single seater. So, behave yourself and you get to take in the night air while strapped to the spoiler. Make a fuss... Alive may pay more, but dead is easier to transport.
