Pixar Cars NEXT GEN Mega Tournament

IMPORTANT: Pixar/Cars NEXT GEN castings only. No Lightning Mcqueen and No Cruz Ramirez castings. Example castings included in the bottom of this post for reference. If you aren't sure your choice is next gen, DM me and ask. 

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only. Must have custom paint
• MUST KEEP EYES ON WINDSHIELD
• 60g maximum weight
• NEXT Gen Disney/Pixar Cars castings only
• Limit 1 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. Wheels and axles MUST be standard Pixar Cars Axles/Wheels. No smaller wheels + spacers
• Vehicle MUST have a number on both sides (number on roof is a bonus but not required) 

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 5/15/2026. Filming is scheduled to start 5/30/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host. I AM VERY STRICT ON THIS. I PHOTOGRAPH THE CARS AND BUILD BRACKETS RIGHT AT THE DEADLINE DATE AND IF YOUR CAR IS LATE, IT'S A MASSIVE INCONVIENENCE. I'M ALLOWING PLENTY OF TIME TO BUILD. GET YOUR BUILD IN EARLY. IF YOU ARE LATE, YOU WILL NOT RACE. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Track

Track details: The Motor Speedway Of The South (This is The Big O converted to a pixar/cars track. Layout is the exact same as The Big O)

Race format and scoring

I am not putting a limit on the number of entries (but only 1 per builder). Once I receive all the cars, I will build a bracket based on how many cars arrive.

This will be a single-elimination tournament. 4 Car groups. 2 move on each round.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

BONUS SCREENTIME: I do plan on using these cars for an additional "fun" event on the TTC Open Circuit. I will be personally be building a Lightning Mcqueen and the event will be "Can any Next Gen car beat Lightning Mcqueen". It will be a head to head event where you race against my lightning mcqueen for a separate video. Cars will be mailed back after filming. 

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given NO GRACE on weight. Stay under 60g.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
