Okay, I didn't realize there was a difference between 'Pony Cars' and 'Muscle Cars'...but there is! Here is the definition of a Pony Car...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pony_car

And, the race will be open to Pony cars, of any era...so that will open things up a little. And, yes, you can run an optional third car (That is, you will be running a Camaro, a Mustang and an optional third car, which will also be a Pony Car), if you'd like, but, the team scoring will be based on your best two cars

Sound good?

Looking at the definition, I would say 'yes' to the Cougar, the Comet, the Dart, the Cuda and the Javelin...and 'no' to the Duster, the Nova and the Trans-Am. Think 'Long nose, short deck'

Anybody else out on the West coast that would like to host these, while the cars are out there? Mid February?

Team colors...fade job deep purple to blue...you need to hold these in your hand to get the color changing aspect. Maybe someone can get better photos...

now I need to get them up to speed!

The Trans-Am cars are so cool. I really need to get some to Watkins Glen or Lime Rock some time...cool stuff.

I'm looking forward to seeing the different 'teams' in this series...should be fun!!

I can answer for Dadvball that we could run this race at the Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club the second Sunday in February. I believe that date is February 8th but it looks like someone already put that date in for another track. Maybe it could be switched?

  • Yeah, nothing is carved in stone...that would be cool if you they could be run on your track — 72_Chevy_C10
