Outstanding items:
Weight class,? sounds like there is support for a lightweight class, and people are still willing to modify cars...so how about drilled rivits 30-40g class?

I like the idea of setting the weight limit at just under 40 grams -it opens the field to a lot more possibilities, while at the same time, could still be considered light

I'm fine with either weight limit--I'm just hoping a Dieselboy with some fancy wheels will qualify. But if it doesn't, I'll find something else.
If you wanted them to--and if they were willing to host at all--I'm sure the LJLRC would have double-elimination for you, like they did back in that Hardcore Downhill Series, or whatever it was called.
I'm curious--what is Harvest Dragway like? Because it would be interesting, if you wanted three different tracks, to have Smitty's with the long straight, LJLRC with equal straight and slope, and a third with long slope and small straight (like WorpeX's). There's also the option of a loop-de-loop track, if you wanted one...or even get somebody to do open-track (and get yourself some battle-scarred pinkslips).

What is the time frame for this series? I can check with Jeremy about the LJLRC track but it will depend on the month. Our usual meets are the 2nd Sunday of the Month. June we'll be tied up at the Tasca Ford Truck Center so that's probably out. Let me know.

Smitty sent me a message stating that Jeremy from LJLRC was interested in adding a johnny lightning race at TASCA FORD DEALERSHIP on the 9th of June...

I need to call him and get the details. if they will do a double elmination, this could be a cool showcase to kick off, or wrap this short series?

Ok I am finalizing details for this.

Smitty please post up your track layout details.

Mcjiggles, will cover the points?

We need a third host, LJLRC is out I want this to be a racers series, owned and run by racers.

Start date June 15th? should be enough time to build & test one car.

weight class will be 40g or less.

drilled rivits series, custom cars on the custom display.....

what else?
