Re-Schedule for Summer =Funny Car Tournament T.B.D.

Limit 4 entries per Household.
Axles = Any
Weight Limit = 74 grams
Tires = plastic
Lube = Any
Casting = Funny Cars only , opening 2 piece , no Pro Stock
Can be Hot Wheels , Johnny Lightning , or Matchbox brands, Metal on Metal
Fees = $5 per car , will be donated to local Humane Society for pet care
$12 should be included with entries if you want them back
Otherwise they go to 1st place Winners
Starting Grid determined by chip draw first round , after that winners will be paired up as they win for next round of racing and so on.
No points Race = Small trophies awarded to 1st , 2nd & 3rd place winners.
Single Elimination Racing Style , cars will be ran on track 1 lap prior to video stream to “ Warm Up “ axles for Best performance
Cars given a 2 gram grace to account for variance in scales and elevation.
Cars arriving broken or damaged in shipping will be disqualified and shown at beginning of video stream and fees returned to owner.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 4/4/2026. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 4/11/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $12 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

My track is 2 lane Drag Track 12 feet ..
Whitehall Canyon Drag Strip

Race format and scoring

Each car will race once in both lanes for a Faster time. A car will move on in the bracket when it runs the Faster time than it's opponent .

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 2grams over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
