"Redline Derby" Tournament!
Hello everyone! Due to having no official redline tournaments this week, I decided to do a 'Redline Derby' tournament on my track! I choose cars which have an exact match in the fantasy league. Participating cars are have the same paint scheme, chassis and wheels. Also, no FTE's and I did my best to pick cars which raced a bunch (although I couldn't resist using my Power Piston, love that car!) Cars were seeded based upon their rating in the Redline Derby!

Some cars have a profile on my database, those have a link. The ones that don't haven't raced in any recent tournaments. Also, Excuse my weird naming scheme, it helps me remember which cars are which. Especially when I have cars of the same model. I also enjoy naming them. >.>
I'll come right out and tell you though, in this particular event, the cars which do well in the redline derby likely suck on my track. My GT-90 and Lumina for example, are terrible. I've never had a fast Callway either, even brand new ones. On the flipside however, cars that aren't too good in the redline derby, tend to be better on my track (go figure!). Power Pistons, Cadillac Eldorado, Firepower, etc.

Would be cool to see some predictions! I'm thinking either the Firepower, Ferrari GTB/4 or Eldorado will take the win. I should have the results up on Sunday!

Results are in! Mostly predictable results in my opinion, although I was not expecting the Split Vision to end up winning! It JUST BARELY beat both the Eldorado and Firepower.
Decided not to count this tournament for points, since at least half of this field isn't a very accurate representation of the car type. I'm in the process of updating my car list with a newer field since a lot of these cars are 10-15 years old. Both "Shatter" and the Split Vision in this tournament are brand new cars, and they seem to be holding up well! For me, it seems whenever I get new cars they're either terrible or pretty good. I have a brand new Speed Machine also which is a monster on my track!
Going to be doing a Freshmen tournament next to welcome in some cars!
