Nice Funny Car; I don't know if any of mine will qualify (at least for the first five), but they generally seen to be the fastest HWs out there.

I had a Tomica Lancer EVO X in the top 5 until it got a slightly bent axle.
So out of 4 Tomicas in qualifying, 2 of them were in the top 5 at one point!

The Super Snake has been eliminated by a, wouldn't you know it, Tomica Subaru WRX STI.

most hot wheels funny cars have very little clearance left to right with the front axle... i used to have to get equal spacing on each side for every pass.... and yes, fast

Yep, we do race in different dimensions...in FOTF, just about any plastic-tire Hot Wheels would unquestionably crush a Tomica. I get the feeling you'd have done well at the LJLRC, if they'd decided on adding a Tomica class.

Ok. Its time to get serious here. I'm about to reveal some updated details about the event.

-The league will run for 11 weeks. Each team faces each other once.
-Replacement cars for under-performing entrants will start racing on Week 6
-Top 6 teams after 10 rounds will advance to the play-offs
-PLAYOFFS: Rank 1 & 2 will have a bye. Rank 3 will face Rank 6 and Rank 4 vs Rank 5. Winner of 4/5 faces rank 1 and winner of 3/6 faces rank 2. Then the finals!

PRIZES:

Points leader after round 5 will receive the following gift: High-Speed Wheels 1984 Pontiac & Ballistik
-*NOTE: Because some teams will have a bye, teams without a bye will have their lowest scoring week's score not count towards the week 5 prize leaderboard*
Tournament winner will receive this: High-Speed Wheels 4ward Speed, Hot Ones "Hot Bird" and Flying Customs "Chevy Monza"
Second Place will receive this: High-Speed Wheels 4ward Speed

... and i'm sure by the time the end of the event comes, i'll add to this list.

For the record: I am also competing for these prizes as I didn't buy any duplicates for me with the exception of the Monza... if I win, the Monza will go to the second place.

I imagine you're gonna have to take a few breaks during this series if it's going to run for eleven weekends, right? Eleven straight weekends of racing might be a bit taxing.

No, don't think so. If my math is correct, there's 11 teams so 10 races but 1 bye.

Edit: Yeah, just calculated it. My math is correct! Just one bye during the series.

Edit 2: Ah ha! You edited your post! I understand now. I do my racing during the week after work. So i'll probably spread the racing out over a few days and maybe even get ahead in weeks. I just wont be posting the results until the weekend.
