RTL Roster Moves and Free Agent Signings after 11/12/11 of the Active Trial Season
A last minute, late night roster change has League Commissioner seattlegreyy promising rule changes.
The Firebirds have released vmj2734 and resigned Sean_aruba, reversing a decision made just last week.
When the Firebirds signed vmj2734, Firebirds Captain WorpeX expressed concern, saying "I am worried about his activity." Well, that concern lead to action...and the Firebirds have ditched the talented but tempermental free agent and instead gone back to Sean_aruba, who was unceremoniously jettisoned last week.
"I don't like it," said League Commissioner seattlegreyy when asked about the last minute roster moves that WorpeX has made the past two weeks. "It's not good for the league...not good for the fans...and not good for the players, who have to live their lives, too. It can't just be all about the numbers and you plug in and pull out players without restraint or concern, like some fantasy football league..."
The Commissioner promised new rules--limiting when roster moves could be made and preventing players released by one team from being immediately re-signed by the same team--but no word on the exact wording of those rules or when those rules will be enacted.
Meanwhile, Sean_aruba puts his Firebird uniform back on, just in time for this week's matches.
And no other teams currently have made roster move requests...
