Got there a little sooner than I thought. :) p.o. said Friday 26th, they were on the ball for sure.

I did however forget to put the info card in along with the cars. should have been a total of 5.

Mine (AMH-412) are: shoebox(49/50 Ford), red with yellow flames, and a 1956 Buick Century, white with black doors, ( cop car )

Cortez Racing: 55 chev bel-air, black with a green hood, and a light green 57 chev bel-air

B&G Racing: 66 Pontiac gto, silver

teams names are also marked on the underside of the car. Looking forward to the races that are upcoming

So, we have cars coming from Delta 6 and FatMike. So, it looks like we'll have 26 cars for next weekend's races...and I'm friends with a guy named Phil Bracket who can through in a couple to get us to 28 (4 bye cars in the first round).

Looks like we are in for some good racing! The team pics will start the middle of next week!

I've been reading a book about Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins, and the early days if stock bodied drag racing must have been awesome. And that thought, combined with Smitty mentioning the Winter Nationals, got me thinking

In the old days, however many cars showed up, that's how many raced. And it just so happens, that, between the CCC vehicles and the Sedan Shootout cars, I'll have jyat about the right number of cars to fill a 64-car field!

So, I was going to run an 8-car shootout this coming Sunday. But it might be really cool to run a full field, random draw, 64 car Winter Nationals!

It won't really matter to the CCC cars, because they will have run, but the Sedans are just getting started. So, if you don't want your cars to run in the event, let me know.

Any thoughts?

The cars that I have, are stickered and are sitting trackside, ready to run!

I'm waiting on Delta 6's cars, but it's only Tuesday. The cars look GREAT, Guys...I can't wait to see them going down the track!

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to give you an update...it seems that FatMike has had more trouble with the Post Office. It wasn't the gorillas this time, now it was the baboons...they returned his package to him!

So, hopefully, his cars will get here for the start of the race on Friday. But, if they don't, Traction Event and I have him covered...I threw together a '64 Galaxy and TE says that he can drive the prize 'Otto'!

So, FM, you will be racing this weekend, no matter what the Post Office has to say about it!

P.S. team pics will be a little later...I'm hoping to receive Delta 6's cars

Sorry guys, I've had the cars boxed up for a while now, but I got busy at work, forgot about the holiday and didn't get them out. I can see about getting them overnight-ed on Friday, but I may just have to send them on to the next venue?
