Sending cars to the US
Hi my friends.
I only want to let you know that due to changings on the US taxes rules most of european post services have stopped the deliveries for the moment. We have to figure out how it changes. They have no clue how the standing are at the moment.
My cars could be delayed a lot or you have to pay the taxes. Because of this i have to cancel each tournament inside the US at the moment. Sorry for this. This was not predictebel...
I wish you all great races! And i hope i can send my cars soon to a race!

I am so Happy that your Sardine Racer cam through, I'll catch the Taxes on anything coming my way or Tarriff? It's a Load of Bull Shine if you ask me, To do such a Idiotic thing for Private Mail!
Same in NZ.
NZ has paused deliveries to the US while they sort out tariff issues. Luckily I got all the Gravity Chaos trophies, prizes and cars to the US before that happened.
the law says anything under $100 USD is exempt
how about int shippers like DHL?

That sucks! Sorry to hear that and hope it gets figured out soon. Also I guess I'll have to check if that will effect incoming mail as well, as I a some to send back to you. I'll keep in touch or if any other hosts know already.

I received a package yesterday from Cutrockcreeker in Australia that he mailed two days before their moratorium. It took only 11 days. Now, it could take months. Who knows? Sorry you have to miss out on some races.

- That sounds like what you need to fill out for international shipping anyways. The customs form for USPS has all that. Just make sure to list the value at under $60. I know my car's are less valuable after modification. :-D — JBlotner42

my postal gals said customs is wrong, docs and personal stuff should not have tariffs
she said that you can file a complaint with customs if they try to charge you
I say this for anyone in transit to Canada, it's worth a try if you are stuck in customs
Also it ONLY applies to individuals. maybe that's where we've gotten it wrong.

- Hi. I was today at our main post office. Perhaps you are right, but they send nothing at the moment. Because they send everything together in blocks. Private and professional stuff. Because they have trouble to know how it works really, they stopped everything. I could use dhl express. A package under 2 kg would cost me at the moment 62,58€. So i have to wait the everything is clear or somebody rectifys some stupid things. I wish you all great fun to let them race.
