What cars have you found lately?
Got a haul of cars from Koots at Bent Rod Racing so I can learn how to modify cars as much as I am able with my less than stellar vision. I'm really liking the Audi Quattro Sport Rally & the Ford Thunderbird Pro Stock. I'll end up racing as-is with nothing else done to them except graphite. I don't know what I will do to the others until I get a suitable lighted magnifier. I intend on starting my own racing stable, Double Bogey Diecast, made possible by Bent Rod Racing.

HyVee had a basket of the Golds, Been watching for a price drop for months.. Org $5 each, yesterday said 2/$5 so I said sure half off.. Wrang them up one scaned $1.25 the other $1.65.. So im going back to get some more I like the body style and want to paint up with Monster Energy all flat black and the other with Samuria/Cherry Blossom, mix... Cant wait to make the decals for these..

Do you have any rules or games that you use when you are shopping for cars?
if I come across an orange race car I gotta buy it. Orange and white are my racing colors. so I just grabbed this one off of Amazon
I also collect convertibles of any type, but mostly only if they're really cool or interesting looking. So naturally I needed to pick up this matchbox 1949 Kurtis sports car.
I also like those classic 40s and 50s super swoopy cars that flow like melting ice cream. Kinda like these

Wife and I went antiquing today, picked these up for $24.50. I get giddy when I find Metal/Metal like the Jags and GT90s....even if I do already have several of them I will never pass up the opportunity to get more when they are dirt cheap. Many of these will end up on the "tray", the place I pile castings I plan to drill apart and strip even without plans for their use, yet.

Here are a few choice selections from fe today'sgroceryshopping. I need to slow down because I always end up with a few too many doubles and quadrubbles? Plus, I might go Downtown/North End of the Strip in a few days to trade some JDM Supers for some older mainlines.
