& lightweight and often looses its photo subjects in the tight curves. It usually takes many attempts to come up with just a few seconds of useable footage. I hope to have some time to gather more on Sunday.GspeedR
Does the inside lane usually winn, since it has the advantage of a slightly shorter track?

You got a band going on back there?
MATCHBOX ROCK !
Gotta have toys!!!
5 more guitars in there cases under the "Jersry Shore Dragway" 3 amps, a PA & keyboard live in my basement.
I will be using the same starting gate as the "Jersey Shore Dragway" & the downhill from my outside traveling track "Majestic Dragway" 6' drop with a 6' runoff before a 90 degree curve...."Deadmans Curve" Followed by 3, 180 degree curves another 90 then run to the finish.
The finish line will be the same "Judge" unit as the other tracks and the Catch box from the "Jersey Shore" track
The drawing is not scale but kinda close, "Deadmans Curve" can go to the right or left depending on where it will be set up......
Any Questions?
I like this...great idea for racing!

Summerford Hot Wheels Raceway
1x4 for ramp and base. Bent aluminum, drywall anchor springy piece, rubber band, and lexan for the starting gate.
15 inch ramp with a 7 1/2 inch drop. 100 inches long total or 8 feet and 4 inches.
So far the lanes are pretty even.
LOOKS GOOD !... roll 'em

"The Gauntlet" A one lane time trial course for a Pikes Peak style competition. I have collected the track parts needed, and come spring some testing will need to be done after construction.
