I like the no grill and front bumper on the T-Bird. I've been wanting to take off the front bumpers on the Gassers I've been working on, but they, so far, have all been molded bumper and grill together. That's a bit extra work to separate the two and still have them look good.

Know where to get gas tanks to hang from the front?

Or headers the stick out behind the front tires. Those are Gasser staples I'd like to include.

there is a name for it,
but it is the rectangular framework that holds your individual chrome 1/24th scale model kit parts together... cut a section and file to length... paint the ends "close to chrome"... a glue in moon tank... A-OK, dumpin'A, ozzenburg, Mid mill, '29 pick up and straight pipes have front mounted fuel cells...all are molded to the grills...
the headers come hooked to pass'n gasser's mill...super comp dragster's headers may work... metal ones on J.L. '33 willys pick up...

Roughed out a '33 willys pick-up and a '49 merc today... need 2 more under 45 gram gassers... the willys has a narrow track...the rear wheels have a substantial raised ridge on the inside edge of the tire... that and drag wheels under the front of FRED's racer will test how a minimum surface contact car does...
just under two weeks gets us to the 15th...maybe give carl a week to race...
THE GASSER CHALLENGE NEEDS TRACK HOSTS ? #1= CARL... # ? SMITTY.... WHO ELSE... LOOKS LIKE A 16 CAR FIELD... NOT TOO MUCH WORK.... GREAT LOOKING CARS SO FAR...

I'll race 'em.

that's three...

the rectangular framework that holds your individual chrome 1/24th scale model kit parts together

"Sprue" or "Trees"...You know, that would work as a straight axle or shocks hanging down to hold the axle. Might be tough to make 'em durable enough for racing.

thats it... i have an older friend, yes that is possible.. he worked for mattel doing artwork for toy packaging, he told me that my faux moon tanks were "sprue" ... and you can get a wide range of colors,... but chrome is king.
