So many cars!

Jobe Wednesday, 6/1/2011

In the last 5 days I have bought nearly 200 cars!

Hit the stores on a work road trip on Friday, 2 Targets and a Walmart for about 15 cars.
Sunday to Walmart to get a kiddy pool for the boys...finally some new releases...picked up another 12 or so.
Monday catch an ad on craigslist and pick up 58 for cheap.
Today, catch another craigslist ad...pick up 100 or so cars for even cheaper!

THe last big batches are all 90's cars with some early 2000's thrown in.
Got some sweet Ferrari's and some totally random cars I didn't even know Mattel made.
I see some new stock car champions in my future!

Most of these will go to my charity events, but it's fun sorting through them and adding a few to the collection.

I'll put up some photos if anyone is looking for another particular from that age range let me know. Some really radical paint jobs in the bunch!

I need to start hitting up garage sales or markets or something. I guess eBay is just as good if you can get a box of hundreds for a good price. Although between my purchases and donations, I have more cars than I can handle and organize right now anyway! I think I'd have to smuggle in more cars so my wife doesn't freak out.

WHole mess of cars! This is almost 180 cars in this photo that I picked up in the last week.

Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Went through all of my cars last night, found out I have over 300 freaking cars in the pacakges still. scary.
Picked a few out for my small collection, some for my buy-in races, some to customize and put the rest back in the boxes for my charity runs.

Did your find include a lot of all-metal cars? There were a lot more of them back in the 90s.
My fiancée found a flea market in town that just got a bunch of Hot Wheels. I went there on my lunch break and ended up buying around 60 cars, each for under a buck. There were a lot of late 90s and a bunch of early 2000 cars. There were so many cars there, believe me it was hard to stop at 60.
I'm going to start a thread and post some pics. Check it out!
