Nice video and beautiful historic cars. I'd like to see Mattel make a Type 10 because of it's historical significance. I suspect that Bugatti's contract stipulations are similar to Ferraris where they have input on production (Models/color schemes).  It's the main reason we will never see a Veyron or F40 portrayed as an 'Art Car'.

  • LOL, my mild headache just intensified at the mere suggestion of a Ferrari Art Car — Chris_Hood
  • Mattel did release some questionable Ferrari paint schemes in the 90s, I don't think Ferrari was amused. — GspeedR
  • Yep not to leave out those cartoonish Ferrari cars, highly altered body styles — Chris_Hood

Historical cars are decidedly more the wheelhouse of MBX; we have to give that line a lot of respect for their deep dives into so many manufacturers! The old Auburns, Caddies and similar from Hot Wheels dried up after the buyout and truthfully I dig that, each pursuing a different tack across the tiers of offerings

What about a cross line collab, say a ten car collection box of one manufacturer where HW & MBX fill in each other's gaps??
