These paints came in the mail today. I'm looking forward to using them as soon as possible. Which will most likely be towards the end of February. The garage is quite cool this time of year In this kind of weather, I may revert to rattle cans.
why would I revert to rattle cans in cold weather? Primarily because I only have a year of experience with airbrushing, so very much looking forward to the coming spring summer fall to increase my knowledge and skill. But all said It's just a lot of fun to be able to mix and control your own paint in any way you wish. I also have the space dust package of color shifting paints by the same company. They are also an excellent set of paints which I've used on several cars. Typical price for one of these packs is around 25 bucks.

Nice! Those powder pigments are a great size for small projects like diecast cars... I have been buying the larger packets and end up with lots of leftover powder. I feel ya on the temperature. I do not have a paint booth so I tend to spray outdoors. Since it only takes a few passes to do these little cars, I am generally out for a few minutes max, then right back inside with my compressor hose strung out the door! But this cold snap has me doing limited painting if any and just a seal of my waterslide decals with rattle cans.
