Deora II Tournament.

Steel Corp Auto Repo (SCAR) or nickname "Charlie" has been a constant oppression in New Westrock. FRRC are dreaming of a surfing escape, but before they skip town...of course, they'll have to race their rides first!

Any Deora II (2) variant 2000 - present.. as long as they have surfboards. The recent Deora 2 variants have had the boards molded into the bed. The originals with loose surfboards are highly encouraged, but not a rule. Painting all surfboards a different color(s) scheme from the body is mandatory.

Paint schemes with evidence of the human hand are not discouraged (i.e. DIY hand drawn/paint- art - symbols, etc.). 

This race will host a 16-car field. Races will air on the Flat Rabbit Racing Club YouTube channel at their convenience.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• Limit 1 entry per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Enlarging fender wells is allowed.
• NO weapons or Gaslands style add-ons.
• The body and surfboards must be repainted with custom paint scheme and differentiated by color.
• Windows and windshield must remain installed with your entry.
• All weight must be concealed inside vehicle

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 11/25/2022. Racing is scheduled for Friday, 12/2/2022. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host. 

Deadline is only a few weeks from today so please don't sign up if you cant make it happen.

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Do not send return shipping money with your entry. If you want your car back...you can send me a message after the race and we will proceed from there

Track

New Westrock's Main Track

Race format and scoring

This will be a two lane, 4 car, points tournament. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the most points will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars over 60gs will be disqualified and not able to race.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not race.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

First one (Orange Flames) has the loose removable surfboards.

Purple one with Snake shows a variant that came without Surfboards. I have seen surfboard replacement packages, That woud be an allowable Add-on.

The silver/gray one shown is on the pegs now and has the recent molded-in (not detachable) surfboards.
