The Big Rig Showdown
Friday, August 2nd, 2024This is The Big Rig Showdown @ Flips Strip presented by LCDRL!! Each team must send in two Big Rigs. One truck will be in the realistic class, and the other truck will be for the fantasy class. It will be a $20 entry fee to race. This WILL include return shipping. If you do not want your entries returned for whatever reason it will be $10 to race. If you are NOT from the US it will be $40 to race . Cash or PayPal ONLY. All teams must send in a entry slip with their trucks. You must have your name, team name, and return address on your entry slip. If you do not pay you will not race! We will not wait for anyone. Once the deadline is up the race will start. Make sure you give yourself some time. This will be a timed event. Each truck will get one pass down both lanes with their fastest time being recorded. The field will be cut in half after each round until we have a winner. Any ties will go off the second lap. For the finals the turcks will get two runs in each lane. We will do this for both classes (Realistic & Fantasy). The winner of each class will race to determine who the overall winner of The Big Rig Showdown will be!

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Discussion
If you have a question about your truck message me. You must send one truck that is realistic and the other one must be a fantasy truck. Picture above are examples of both.
'Looks like we've got ourselves a Convoy'... IN!
- Looking like it. Should be fun — Flip81
- Praise the Lord and Mr. Ford and follow that Microbus, 10-4! — Billys_Midway_Racing
I got to ask: first, does Puerto Rico count as part of the US? and second, WHY THE F*** ARE THERE SO MANY RESTRICTIONS?!?!
Anyways, count me in for two, for fantasy, I'll go with the HW Rig Wrecker, and for licenced, I'll go for a Peterbilt cement truck from MBX
- To see who can follow directions — Flip81
- $40. — Flip81
- Wait, it'll only be $20 if you live in mainland US, and not any of the territories like PR? — lacuevadiecastracing
Remember you must send in 2 trucks one must be realistic (like what you would see on the road) and the other has to be a fantasy. Also they MUST have 6 wheels that touch the ground.
