The Junk Drawer Derby

Here is and idea that probably needs some more input.  I was thinking of having a race where all the cars were made mostly of everyday items.  Like toothbrushes,  cigarette lighters,  silverware,  thumb drives, and whatever.  The wheels, axles and chassis could be HW or MB or whatever.  

Ideas for rules:

Must fit on HW track

More than one item could be combined to make a car.

Cars must have an engine.

Cars must have a place for a driver to sit.  It could be inside the vehicle. 

Cars must utilize a real life item.  No look alike items.....such as a clay toothbrush.

Weight limits and height limits.
