There seems to be two open slots for race hosts...
I asked Gspeed about hosting a race but I have not gotten a date answer yet.
1. If you just race them head to head, you would eventually get 3 cars in the semifinals. You can't really make that work. The byes make it so you can have single eliminations.
2. I randomly organized them.
Thanks for the reply. Please keep in mind that I am new to this (only my 2nd mail in race) so I'll most likely have questions early on for each race I enter until I have it figured out to do a race myself, and that I'm not trying to stir the pot. Regarding your random selection for the byes, I couldn't help but notice 3 cars each have 2 byes, 6 have a single bye, and 3 don't have a bye. Yes, I'm one that doesn't have a bye but I would have asked the question anyway. In trying to keep everything even, there being 12 cars and 6 races, why not just have each car get a bye so every car has the same number of races in the first round? With the 3 cars having 2 byes they will have one less race than everybody else which gives them an advantage. I realize each host does their own thing with their race and I'm not trying to tell any one what to do nor am I trying to cause trouble. Thank you.

I'm curious about that myself. I'm new to racing so there's a lot to learn but being there's an even number of cars I wouldn't think there'd be any byes in the first round. Also curious as to how it's determined who gets the bye.I just bought track and hope to host a race in the future so answers would be helpfull.
I'll try to answer. While each host has a little something different to offer at their venue one thing should remain constant and that is for all hosts to begin with the same bracket. This makes keeping track of points in a series a heck of a lot easier too. The easiest brackets to use and find are here: http://www.printyourbrackets.com/
Beyond that about the only requirement is to have fun racing the cars (oh, and don't pair one racers cars together in the first race ), pack them up nicely, then forward them to the next venue.
The race will have to wait for a little bit. The setting for the races is not available as of the moment.
