congratulations to carl... again.... maybe call him "eliminator-carl"
Thanks for posting that up Carl, there were some seriously close racing, closest ever I think.
I think with double eliminations the results would have been different.
Cars will be shipped out today, waiting on new tires on my truck after a blow out this morning...joy
What happened to #52? Why did it DNF? Is it damaged?
#52, the bottom of the car was draggin on my track. It just made it to the finish gate but not through it.
It was so epoxied together I dind't want to dig into it to fix it. Seems the rear axle might have come loose, or was just set too high. My track might have a bit of crown in the middle. There was one more car #12 I think that had a glob of epoxy on the bottom that I was able to grind off a bit so it would run.
There is a fine line on fixing cars. Part of me says, tough luck. The other part of me says I want to see the cars run. Easy external fixes or a car that comes apart is one thing, digging into a car is another as it might not be put back together the same way and might make it slower or even faster or damage it in the process...
Ahhh... That stinks. Perhaps using Play-doh for added weight wasn't the greatest idea i've ever had.
@FOTF: There should be another WorpeX.net car in the box somewhere. If #52 is damaged, can the Lamborghini be run in its place? Thanks!!!
that is why i use LOCTITE; STIK'N SEAL indoor only [ outdoor is model glue] to attatch the body... it lets me pry the car apart for repair or recycling the body, it won't hold the axles in... $2.50 ish a tube [50 cars] ....my cars have proven the glue to be tough..... try it
Could also drill out the rivits, thread the holes and then use screws to hold 'em together.

That is the super awesome deluxe way to do it!

Sure, we can race the other one; can we do double elimination?
Good job (again), Carl!
i think this series originated in CA. p.m. T.L.D. about double elims...

What happened?
FOTF was victorious, I presume?...
