The Middleweight Challenge! (mail-in race series)

Jump to first page Jump to last page

Alright! Bout time someone got an F40 up in here,

My (current) entries are the 2000 release of the Ferrari F40, with "RLD Middleweight Challenge" and a 21 number taped on it, and a Sweet 16 II (2002) with a 46 taped on. They will likely be different tomorrow. Oh well.

Aand........the Sweet 16 II was knocked out by a Ford GTX1 with added weight.

I sounds like your qualifying process is similar to mine....just when you think you've found "the car", it gets beat by something else. If you don't mind me asking, are you using 'dry graphite lube' on your wheels & axles?

Only on one of them, the Skylined. That GTX1 had weight added just because was a covertible and was below the weight limit.

No, I don't. The only time I have done anything to the axles was with a custom Skyline with a big wing and a 32 Ford engine. I put FTE wheels on it. It failed to beat the Ferrari F40. I once tried to put a substance called Simply Tacky on the wheels of a 4Ward Speed, due to you saying a couple months back that it needed graphite to do much of anything, and the result was the same as yours:not very fast.

We will be hosting a special race King Of The Hill (Series winners race) on Sunday December 2nd. So if you have won a series please mail your car or cars to my addy. 7 Vista Dr. Lincoln, RI 02865 attn. Jeremy Morin. Make sure you mail your Top Sportsman series 2 cars to Columbia, Ca no later then October 17th!

I almost had my group ready, and I tried my Super Snake FTE one last time against the Ferrari F40. It wins.

Edit: Super Snake FTE is out due to unreliable runs.
