As a racer I really like the double eliminations, but as a Race host with 30 or so cars I don't know if I can get all the racing in, but I think I'm gonna try, but don't expect the other host to do it. Will this mess up the points?

That's a lot of cars to run in a double elimination bracket!
IMO the individual host should decide how they want to race them. The points can then be deciphered afterward.

Yeah, it's actually a little bit insane. The only way I could pull it off is a Winners Bracket on Saturday and a Losers Bracket on Sunday.

I'd like to offer a potential alternative, strictly as a suggestion.
If every contestant has entered [i:vbvr3e7v]must be entered an 'equal' amount of times(or close to it.). Since we have 5 venues, no entry would be permitted to be entered 4 times. I know it seems like a downer in knowing only half the cars would be raced and it does present some statistical challenges, but it could add a bit of 'interactive strategy' when you think about it. Like I said, its just an idea.

If every contestant has entered 2 vehicles, we could impliment a "Team system" where only one entry/contestant (half of the cars) are raced @ each venue. The rules would be simple...each contestant chooses which one of their cars they want to compete with @ the given venue prior to the race. I think that's a good idea. I wonder if it's a bit late to implement it. Since so many cars are already here. For that to be optimal it seems like racers might want to have the specifications of the tracks when they are building their cars. Then they can to testing and plan what cars theoretically may or may not work on certain tracks.
I don't think we are overwhelmed with entries, it's just the double eliminations that add a lot of racing/time. I wouldn't suggest to any track host to do that with 30 some odd cars, but I just may take on that challenge.
...and at least 2 notorious Ferrari killers.
